Guests can arrive anytime after 3pm on the day of arrival and must check out by 10.30 am on the day of departure.
Bed & Breakfast Guests
To reserve Wild Thyme eco-cottage, please check availability on our booking engine or email us (firstname.lastname@example.org). To secure your booking we require a non-refundable deposit of the first night’s accommodation. We ask you to do this within a week of receiving our email confirmation of your booking. This can be paid via the paypal link on our booking engine or directly into our bank account. For bed and breakfast guests, the balance is due on arrival.
Self Catering Family/Friend Groups
To secure your booking we require a non-refundable deposit of the first night’s accommodation (120 BG lev). This can be paid via the Paypal link on the invoice we will email you or directly into our bank account. For self catering family groups or groups of friends, the balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. If you need to cancel within 14 days of arrival, we will do our best to find a replacement booking. If we are unable to re-let the cottage, then we shall have to retain the full payment. If we do obtain a replacement booking we will then refund any monies paid less a handling charge. We strongly advise that you take out cancellation insurance.
Hiring Wild Thyme as a Venue for Workshops, Events etc
To secure your booking we require a non-refundable deposit of the first night’s accommodation. This can be paid via the Paypal link on the invoice we send you or directly into our bank account. When hiring Wild Thyme as a venue, the balance is required 30 days prior to your arrival. You will receive an invoice from us which can be paid via PayPal or into our UK bank account. If you need to cancel less than 14 days prior to arrival, we will do our best to find a replacement booking. If we are unable to re-let the cottage, then we shall have to retain the full payment. If we do obtain a replacement booking we will then refund any monies paid less a handling charge. We strongly advise that you take out cancellation insurance. There is a minimum 3 night stay and minimum of 5 people plus group leader (not for self catering option). Groups can check in after 3pm and check out is at 10.30am. The arrival day is flexible. It does not have to be at the weekend.
Wild Thyme Workshop Participants
To secure your place on a workshop, a non refundable deposit of 50 lev/25 euro is payable within a week of booking. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to course commencement. For early bird dates and rates, see course content on the website. If you need to cancel within 6 weeks of the course beginning, we will endeavour to find a replacement. If we do obtain a replacement booking, we will then refund any monies paid less a handling charge. If we are unable to find a replacement, then we shall have to retain the full payment.
If for any reason, the advertised course tutor cannot attend, we will endeavour to find a replacement tutor. In this case, there may be some changes to course content, depending on the curriculum of the replacement tutor. If, for any reason, beyond our control, the course must be cancelled, all fees paid in advance will be refunded in full. Guests have no further claims against the owner. We will not be liable for travel costs or any other associated costs. We therefore advise that guests take our insurance.
We have made every effort to ensure your safety. However, it is guests’ responsibility to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and let us know of any possible hazards. Check the layout of the property so that in an emergency you can get out quickly and easily.
The use of accommodation and amenities is entirely at the guest’s own risk, and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, or loss or damage to guests or their belongings.
Guests must accept responsibility for the safety of themselves and children.
We strongly advise taking out travel insurance.
The maximum wattage that the PV system can withstand is 1000 watts. If the system is overloaded, there is a chance that the invertor will break. If guests overload the system using high wattage appliances, such as hair dryers and electric kettles, they will be liable for the cost of repairs. There are mains plugs well labelled in the cottage for use with high wattage appliances.
Rental prices include all bed linen and towels (but please bring your own towels for swimming).
Please seek permission to bring pets.
The Guest’s Obligations
- to take care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.
- to tell us as soon as possible if there are any defects in the property or breakdown of appliances.
- to pay for any breakages, losses or damage to the property before departure.
- Please contact us immediately if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved.
- We shall not be liable for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any appliance in the property or gardens.
- We shall not be liable to guests for any loss, damage or injury.
- If, for any reason beyond our control, the property is not available on the date booked, all rent paid in advance will be refunded in full. Guests shall have no further claims against the Owner.
- Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability to the guest exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
