Making wine

‘…The best thing about this place is how devoted Chris and Claire are to self-sufficiency and doing things the traditional Bulgarian way (building with mud, preserving, gardening, etc.) They’ve learned and implemented a lot and will share all their knowledge with you while asking for your opinions and ideas. This is a place of true exchange. Thanks so much for everything, we’ll be back!’         Jenna and Hillary, Canada Aug 2011

Learn about organic gardening

‘Having experienced the lifestyle, the desire for early starts, muddy days and finding 1001 ways to use tomatoes is even stronger.  Thank you for the experience.’  Tracey, England Aug 2011

Join us on a free tour of the garden to learn tips for growing your own food.

Learn to butcher meat

We believe that since one of us chooses to eat meat, then the best way to do that is to produce our own meat.  We provide a good and healthy life to our animals and they are killed quickly and with the least possible pain in their own yard.  They are then butchered with the respect and gratitude they deserve. If you agree with this ethos and would like to join us in this process which is only available a couple of times each year, please contact us in advance.

Workshops are generally 3-4 hours long and cost 35 lev per person.
