Ashtar Bat Haadama has been working with arts, crafts, spirituality and mindfulness ‘working towards creating a kinder existence’ for the past 35 years. She is an inspiring and deeply spiritual teacher with a unique style. She has an ability to help even those who describe themselves as ‘not artistic’ to simply be and create art from a deep place within themselves.
She formally studied ceramic, drawing, sculpture, water colour painting and carpentry. She has been teaching art for 20 years and her many projects include nine years teaching ceramic work to people with special needs. Currently she works with Bedouin women in Israel, teaching self empowerment through the production of art using recycled materials. In recent years she has found the mandala to be the ideal medium to help herself and others connect with spiritual knowledge.
